Daniel Imperato meets in Rome Raffaele Lombardo, leader of the MPA independent party for Sicily where they share their common vision of independent parties across the Atlantic.
This morning Raffaele Lombardo, leader of the Movimento Per l’Autonomia (MPA), a Sicilian independent party, met Daniel Imperato, candidate for presidency in the United States. Imperato, whose family is originally from Sicily, is the head of a well known holding group with interests in real estate and online publishing. Before meeting Lombardo in the MPA headquarters in Rome, Imperato was at an audience in Vatican.
The meeting at the MPA party was held under the Autonomy proposition.
Imperato was joined by dott. Stefano Cantaluppi with whom belongs to the humanitarian organization “Orden Bonaria” that supports projects from emerging countries, and by dott. Stefano Formica, from MPA. Raffaele Lombardo, who was with on. Angelo Atzori, has appraised the fact that Imperato is interested in Italian politics and above all about the autonomy project that he is carrying out for the Sicily region.
''Daniel Imperator’s ideology -Lombardo explained- is similar to ours since Imperato dynasty comes originally from South of Italy and following the American dream has achieved the state of well known business man, in this moment politically engaged to support in US the Italian tradition and Catholic values. Today Imperato has been in the Vatican where he keeps tight relationships thanks to his devotion and belief in the catholic principles.
Daniel Imperato, underlining his origin, has foreseen a fructuous collaboration with Lombardo and his MPA movement saying that:” he admired the determination and savory in leading political negotiation during a red hot campaign.” “Naturally – Imperato added – this collaboration must be enlarged to the economic sectors in such a way that American businessmen can invest in Italy and specifically in the “common” South, taking advantage of their common roots.”
During the meeting Daniel Imperato has offered his technical and financial help for the Messina Bridge project through his companies.
“We can offer project management for the building for the bridge, we can bring in American insurance companies, and we can put the project Bridge in the international Finance to get them on board supporting the initiative. Besides I can use my relationships with different consortia from Asia that have experience in making similar projects.
The Bridge project has seen from the US – Imperato explained – with a lot of interest.
As a matter of fact, the Bridge has been considered a necessary tool, from one side, to strength Sicily, making it more and more the centre of the Mediterranean region, and from the other side the necessary key to improve the economic situation of the island, preserving its beauty and charm.
Daniel Imperato and Raffaele Lombardo will meet again in Sicily shortly.
